Kalahari Resort is located in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, this outdoor waterpark is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Kalahari also has an indoor waterpark that is open 365 days a year. Both of the parks are super family friendly, and the resort is perfect for a weekend getaway.
The indoor park features a family raft ride, a wave pool, and “FlowRider”, where guests can boogie board. The outdoor park features slides, the “Swahili Swirl”, the “Anaconda Experience”, and “Splashdown Safari”.
Water Country USA is Located in Williamsburg, Virginia. This waterpark is the largest in the state! It’s home to over 10 water slides, raft rides, and lazy rivers! You can also book a private cabana next to the wave pool beach, or reserve lounger chairs. Looks like a total blast!

The park offers free soft drinks, sunscreen, parking, and Wi-fi (although, who needs Wi-fi at waterpark?!) Splashin’ Safari is home to “Mammoth”, the world’s longest water coaster and “Thunderbird”, America’s only launched wing coaster. The park also has shows and special events to make your day even more fun. Book online to save a few bucks!
The name says it all! Head to Summer Fun Water Park for a day of adventure! This waterpark is located in Belton, Texas, and is open everyday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (except Sundays when the park opens at 1 p.m).

Last but not least, we have Dollywood’s Splash Country Water Adventure Park. Located in Great Smoky Mountains, TN, this park is perfect on a hot Southern summer day. The water park is 35 acres of exciting rides and attractions.
The park’s website notes that they were titled one of America’s Top 10 Water Parks, they received the Ellis & Associates Platinum Lifeguard Award for lifeguard safety, as well as the Golden Ticket Award for Best New Ride. I can’t think of a reason not to go!
