I remember when my daughter got her first suitcase. We were getting ready to go on her first cruise (our second) and she was 18 months old. She didn’t understand very much about what a cruise was or where we were going but when her grandmother showed up with a blue and white polka dotted suitcase just for her — it was love at first sight. She proceeded to squeal and crawl inside of it happily and later she helped me pack all that she needed for our week away.
